While physiotherapy is extremely efficient for rehabilitation following an operation, I felt however, that it might not be the best solution when it comes to treating back or neck pain and that something was missing from the physiotherapy arsenal of exercises and mobilisations.<\/p>\n

For a short period of time I worked for an orthopaedic rehabilitation centre, then I enrolled in the European School of Osteopathy (ESO<\/a>) in England, which turned out to be a life changing decision for me.<\/p>\n

In the next 4 years of studies and clinic work, I acquired a strong foundation in the osteopathic philosophy and got to learn from some of the most renowned osteopaths in the world. The ESO offers a strong knowledge in all areas of osteopathy: structural, visceral and craniosacral. I was also trained extensively in the treatment of infants and pregnant women.<\/p>\n

Member of the General Osteopathic Council<\/h4>\n

Following the completion of my studies, I became a registered member of the General Osteopathic Council and remained in England for 12 years. There I worked at my practices in Kent and London and started a family. In February 2019 we decided to move back to Germany and since then I am a proud K\u00f6lnerin!<\/p>\n

In 2012 I excelled in my Heilpraktiker License examinations with the aspiration that one day that I could bring this evidence based, holistic practice back home to Germany.
